We all get stuck, stumble, and struggle in life but we do better with the right support at the right time. I was born & raised in rural Alberta and grew up playing sports, getting by in school, & working labour intensive jobs (mostly in the oilfield), before and during my University education. I currently work full-time in private practice with a group of experienced psychologists, providing psychotherapy and formal assessment to school aged children, adolescents, & adults, with a specialized focus in traumatic stress, & couples/family therapy (including separated/divorced families). For nearly 10yrs I’ve facilitated a drop-in men’s support group at Momentum Counselling. I am passionate about supporting people to heal, cope, & thrive.

Do you find yourself drowning in a sea of overwhelming emotions – be it anger, anxiety, or despair – that keeps you from living your life to the fullest? At Proven Path Psychology, I specialize in helping you take the reins of your emotional life. Through a combination of lived experience and evidence-based methods, I’ll help you pinpoint the underlying triggers for your emotional upheaval. I’ll then equip you with tailored tools to master your emotions. My unique approach focuses on three transformative pillars: Emotional Resilience, Purposeful Living, and Relationship Renewal. By working together, we’ll convert your overpowering emotions into catalysts for your personal development.

Sometimes, the challenges we face can overwhelm our abilities to cope. This can lead us away from our values, sense of self and can make the future look uncertain.
During times of transition and uncertainty, we may require some extra support to help us make sense of the things getting in our way. My role as a therapist is not to provide you with an answer, it is to help you make meaning of your experiences.
I believe each person has their own innate wisdom and my job is to create a safe relational space for them to access it.

In my practice, I support clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, ADHD, and exhaustion. Life can be hard sometimes and my clients often tell me that they have so much going on in their lives that they’re struggling to manage their emotions. Many of my clients identify themselves as being helpers, healers, caregivers, entrepreneurs, advocates, and empaths and are having a hard time finding balance in their lives. If you’re tired of managing alone and want to find some peace or clarity in your life, or simply want to feel better emotionally, you’ve come to the right place.
